FAQ

What is a class action lawsuit?

A class action lawsuit is a lawsuit filed or defended by an individual or small group on behalf of a large group who have a similar legal claim.  Class action lawsuits provide a more efficient method to recover monetary damages because they allow people to join together as a group in a single lawsuit against one or more defendants.

How much will my refund amount be if I am eligible?

There are a number of factors that determine the size of your refund, including the total amount of your purchases and the number of valid claims filed by class members in the settlement.  This information is not known until the claim period is closed.  Refund Advocacy works hard to make sure you maximize your recovery.

How long before I receive my refund?

This depends on the settlement, as every one is different.  The claims process generally lasts between six months and two years though.
